Why is there no bidirectional connection to my printer?

After upgrading my dos, I get this error error message that the bidirectional connection to the printer is not set properly.

You must be using a canon printer, are you not? You should try Action centre, that fixes most of the hardware/printer issues. Anyway you could try these too:-

Uninstall all the current drivers, you can do that by going to device manager, right click on the driver and Uninstall, you can restart the computer after that.

Now we're gonna try to install our previous drivers in Compatibility mode. I am assuming that you have your drivers because that's a basic thing you should have.

You right click the set up and go to properties, then Compatibility - Select "Run this program in compatibility mode for " select the previous OS drivers and 'Run as Administrator' and that's it. That should fix it and you are welcome.
