I know the question I am going to ask may seem very easy to you. But I am a newbie, therefore I am asking.

I am hoping to wire up my Supernight  PSU. At first I thought that I would splice it into the barrel of the connector. One thing crossed my mind that somewhere I read that this is a wrong idea as the connector does not provide the required current. I wish to make the configuration so that I  need not to alter anything if I ever update things like heated bed. Is that connector taking much current? One thing to add. everything is ok without e3d.

anything to share?
