Why Shapeways 3d printing don't have polished black strong and flexible?

I know they have black in detailed plastic, but why not in any other colour?
Why they don't produce black as good as WSF? That's my question, thank you.

If they implement that it would cost them longer lead time, and they want to avoid that.
I read on their website that they are experimenting and the work is in progress. I also found out that switching between colors might cause unwanted black residue. You would need to clean the machine before each session and that would be very time consuming. They would need to make dedicated black machines for that.
